The Public Affairs team builds public confidence in Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and enhances the reputation of the system and its institutions.
- We serve as the essential communication link between Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and the diverse publics on which our success depends.

Mission
Our mission is to support the leadership and vision of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system.
We provide:
- Information and technical resources, publications management and production, Web site management, special events planning, crisis communication and planning, and speechwriting;
- A coordinated media relations strategy;
- Marketing and promotional services to support student recruitment and to build public confidence in the affordability, quality and diversity of the system's schools;
- Unifying efforts to enable institutions to work together for common goals;
- Tools for enhancing resources system-wide and at individual institutions;
- Dissemination of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system agenda and plans.
